Globally, more and more companies are aligning themselves to the Paris Climate goals and are declaring their decarbonisation targets using various platforms. The regulatory disclosure mandates are also driving this change. Commitment to Net Zero targets and publishing the targets in platforms like Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi) is increasingly being adopted voluntarily by corporates globally. As of May 2022, more than 3000 companies have published their emission targets in the SBTi website.
