Green Hydrogen Forum Day 3 Kicks Off with Industrial Product Pitches and Panels on Financing and Challenges in Green Fuel Project Development

For the third day of the Green Hydrogen Forum at TSA Europe, Gesche Maas from Solar Promotion introduced the session. She explained that Solar Promotion is responsible for organizing this event and shared some company history, mentioning its founder Markus Elsässer's journey from a student to filling 70 halls in Munich with exhibitions over 35 years. Today's schedule features an industrial product pitch session, followed by a panel on financing the energy revolution which will discuss ways to boost private investment in hydrogen initiatives. Another industrial product pitch session and a final panel focused on German CanNets are also planned. Gesche highlighted a leaflet available at the venue containing a QR code linking attendees to all presentations recorded during the three days of discussions, allowing them to catch up on missed sessions. Finally, she introduced Prateek Banerjee, senior consultant at ILF who will be discussing challenges in green fuel project development. The audience was encouraged to give him applause as he takes on his morning presentation.

Photovoltaic prices have fallen continuously in recent years - a trend that should translate into a growing market for off-grid solutions. Declining costs are crucial for rural electrification in particular, making sustainable energy supply economically viable in remote regions. However, so far many of these price advantages have not yet reached the people that need them most. Do existing framework conditions to foster rural electrification still work in this new market reality? Which measures are needed to ensure that cost reductions reach our target group? This session discusses strategies for improving the availability of low-cost off-grid solutions, financing and innovative business models. A look at successful practical examples shows which political, economic and technological levers need to be pulled to make off-grid PV accessible on a large scale.
