Electric vehicles are a great solution when it comes to supporting the energy grid and including more sustainable energy. Electric vehicles could feed energy back into the grid at peak times, preventing grid congestion, balancing energy markets and preventing the use of polluting energy sources. This concept, which could support the energy transition, is called bidirectional charging. This session will be discussing some of the latest developments in bidirectional charging, presenting results from pilot projects and looking at barriers to scaling bidirectional charging.
