Dr. Florian Wessendorf is Managing Director of Solar Promotion GmbH and Solar Promotion International GmbH. He is responsible for the global conference program and exhibitions in North America, South America and India. He has deep expertise in the solar industry, and formerly served as Managing Director of Photovoltaic Equipment at VDMA, where he was responsible for strategic development, market research and technology scouting, advocacy and policy advice, events, PR and marketing.
Geoffrey Ronoh is a co-founder and director at OFGEN with over ten years of experience in the renewable energy sector. He holds a Master’s degree in Sustainable Energy and Entrepreneurship from the University of University Nottingham (UK), and an undergraduate degree in Electrical engineering from the University of Nairobi (Kenya). He has previously served as a Director at Strathmore Energy Research Centre (SERC) and he is one of the founding consortium members of the Kenya Climate Innovation Centre.
The Electricity Sector Association of Kenya (ESAK), was founded in 2019. ESAK is a member-based organisation composed of stakeholders in the electricity sector ranging from Independent Power Producers (IPPs), project developers, consultants, contractors, legal practitioners, finance organisations all working across different sub sectors of the electricity space in Kenya.
